Complex micronutrient fertilizer LURS® Hit

LURS® Hit is a unique complex liquid micronutrient fertilizer for treatment of tubers, seeds and transplant seedlings of vegetables, flowers, turf grass, as well as soaking of stalks, grafts of grapes, orchards, berries and ornamental crops for rooting in 5-6% solution (50-60 mL per 1 L of water).

  • environmentally friendly, highly concentrated micronutrient fertilizer, which contains a balanced set of macro- and micronutrients for germination, rooting and initial stages of plant growth;
  • increases the seed growth energy up to 8%;
  • intensifies growth of the root system;
  • due to more extensive root system it makes plants less susceptible to drought, lack of nutrients, more competitive to weeds;
  • increases the resistance of plants to diseases by 18-30%;
  • increases productivity by 10-20%.
When is it necessary to apply LURS® Hit?

Only four weeks after the beginning of germination a plant transfers to an independent feeding from the soil. During the stage of early seed development they need not only building material in the form of macroelements but also micronutrients. Due to the presence of available micronutrients the enzymatic processes in seeds are intensively activated. Seed pre-treatment with the micronutrient fertilizer LURS® Hit provides plants with available nutrients, starting from the earliest stages of plant growth and development.

Properties of the formulation and its individual components

LURS® Hit affects positively root growth and development because its nitrogen is in the ammonium form. Other components of the formulation: potassium, sulfur, copper, manganese and molybdenum, provide its absorption by plants.

LURS® Hit contains phosphorus which is responsible for the root system development and winter hardiness. Plants are the most sensitive to a lack of phosphorus at a very early stage of growing. In the micronutrient fertilizer LURS® Hit phosphorus is a component of an organic molecule which acts as a chelating agent, so it can be easily and quickly penetrated by plant tissues.

Potassium in the fertilizer stimulates germination of seeds and cell division.

Zinc affects the growth of plants. A characteristic feature of zinc deficiency is a partial delay, and often full stop of growth.

Due to boron growth hormones are freely transported to the apical points.

Manganese and copper prevent plant infection by diseases.

All the metals in the
LURS® Hit are chelated by an organic compound – etidronic acid, that’s why it is easily taken up by seeds. It creates highly stable chelates with metals, their decomposition results in formation of compounds which are easily digestible by plants.

Compatibility: LURS® Hit performs well with dressers and biological preparations (including inoculants). Prior to starting preparation of a tank mix, always check the formulations for compatibility.

Attention:

The formulation does not crystallize. When the temperature goes down, the fluidity of the formulation decreases, but returns to the original state under higher temperature. Due to its composition, the micronutrient fertilizer can be applied in a wide range of temperatures, starting from + 5°С.

Low cost of pre-sowing treatment has a high economic efficiency of this processing method.

It is recommended for use in conjunction with VIMPEL ®plant growth stimulator.

Soils with boron deficiency and other factors affecting the absorption of boron

Sod-podzol, gray and brown forest soils are poor in boron.

Reduction of boron digestion also occurs in acidic soils, for example calcareous soils.

Boron deficiency increases with the application of nitrogen fertilizers in excessive amounts as well as in the case of moisture deficit.

What to do if there is a lack of boron?

Application of the LURS® colofermin boron helps to eliminate the symptoms of boron deficiency and prevent their appearance.

Compatibility: LURS® colofermin boron performs well in tank mixes with herbicides, insecticides, fungicides and biological preparations. Prior to starting preparation of a tank mix, always check the formulations for compatibility.

  • vegetables (cabbage, cucumbers, beets)
  • onion
  • legumes
  • corn
  • grapes

Soils with zinc deficiency and other factors affecting the absorption of zinc

Zinc deficiency is most often observed in sandy, sandy loam and calcareous soils. The need for zinc strongly increases at higher ambient temperatures.

Large doses of phosphorus and nitrogen increase the signs of zinc deficiency in plants.

What to do if there is a lack of zinc?

LURS® colofermin zinc is quickly absorbed through the leaf surface of plants and eliminates diseases caused by zinc deficiency.

Compatibility: LURS® colofermin zinc performs well in tank mixes with herbicides, insecticides, fungicides and biological preparations. Prior to starting preparation of a tank mix, always check the formulations for compatibility.

Attention:

The microfertilizer does not crystallize. Storage at low temperatures may result in the product gelling. Increase of ambient temperature causes the increment of the liquid viscosity. The composition of the microfertilizer allows conducting treatments at an air temperature above + 5°С.

To avoid leaf and fruit burn, do not apply the formulations in high air temperatures. To obtain the maximum effect, it is advisable to conduct treatments in the evening (at a temperature below + 25°С).

Treatment during the flowering period is not recommended.

The formulation contains a high concentration of zinc ions, which provides a reduction in rate of application and hence expenses per hectare.

Soils with sulfur deficiency and other factors affecting the absorption of sulfur

The need in sulfur depends on the level of nitrogenous nutrition: the higher is the level of nitrogen, the more sulfur plants absorb. In the spring, as a rule, sulfur content in the root zone of soil is low, as sulfates are highly mobile.

What to do if there is a lack of sulfur?

To prevent and eliminate the symptoms of a disease, plants should be treated several times with a solution of micronutrient fertilizer LURS® sulphur active.

Compatibility: LURS® sulphur active performs well in tank mixes with herbicides, insecticides, fungicides and biological preparations.

Soils with iron deficiency and other factors affecting the absorption of iron

Iron deficiency is most often observed on calcareous soils. Phosphate fertilizers also affect the solubility of iron: addition of high doses of it promotes the formation of low-soluble iron phosphate in the soil.

What to do if there is a lack of iron?

Application of the LURS® colofermin iron no later than 5 days after the onset of the disease restores the color of the leaves.
Compatibility: LURS® colofermin iron performs well in tank mixes with herbicides, insecticides, fungicides and biological preparations. Prior to starting preparation of a tank mix, always check the formulations for compatibility.
