Micronutrient fertilizer LURS® colofermin potassium

LURS® colofermin potassium is a concentrated microfertilizer for foliar feeding in the critical moments of development of field, fruit and berry crops.

*Colofermine is a multicomponent complexing agent (analogue of chelating agents), which consists of various organic compounds, optimally balanced for maximum absorption and plant uptake (up to 100%) of the corresponding nutrients (main active ingredient) in micronutrient fertilizers.

Depending on the type of micronutrient fertilizers, among other components, colofermin may contain colamine, various complexes of amino acids, micronutrients, including nitrogen, sulfur, sodium in sufficiently high concentrations (up to 280 g/L). Therefore, colofermin also serves as an additional source of plant nutrition.

Due to the above-mentioned factors, our formulations are more effective than the ones, produced by our competitors, even if they have a little higher concentration of an active ingredient.

It does not contain nitrogen, thus making the fertilizer an ideal source of potassium at later stages of plant development.

When there is potassium deficiency chlorosis appears on the leaf tips (so called “marginal leaf burn”), chlorotic areas acquire bronze and dark brown and die off.

LURS® colofermin potassium contains water softener, therefore the use of plant protection products in the hard water (high content of Ca2+ и Mg2+) in conjunction with LURS® colofermin potassium does not reduce their effectiveness. Hardness salts are reliably bound by the formulation component, without causing turbidity of the spraying solution. There is no danger of the calcium sulphate (gypsum) formation, which can lead to breakdown of spraying machinery. When conducting treatments use а freshly mixed solution.

LURS® colofermin potassium has a significant physiological effect on plants, namely:

  • increases plant resistance to ground frost;
  • reduces affection of crops by root blight and rust;
  • improves the flow of water to plant cells;
  • reduces evaporation process;
  • increases formation of sugars in leaves and their transition to other organs.
Due to its composition the microfertilizer can be applied in a wide range of temperatures, starting from +5° C.
It is recommended for use in conjunction with VIMPEL ®plant growth stimulator.
