Micronutrient fertilizer LURS® colofermin iron

LURS® colofermin iron is a concentrated micronutrient fertilizer for foliar feeding of potatoes and vegetables (application rate – 20-30 mL pro 10 L water), as well as grapes, orchards, berries, ornamental crops, flowers and turf grass (application rate – 40-50 mL pro 10 L water).
  • is a micronutrient fertilizer of high purity, which eliminates effectively iron deficiency in plants;
  • does not cause leaf burn, is completely absorbed through the leaf surface of plants;
  • when applied as a preventive measure prevents chlorosis development;
  • improves the water-holding capacity of plant tissues, increases viscosity of protoplasm and osmotic pressure;
  • enhances root development.
In which cases it is necessary to add iron?

  • at the first signs of chlorosis in the leaves chlorophyll formation is suppressed, leaves lose their green color, darken and fall prematurely;
  • plant growth slows down.
Which crops require iron the most?

  • berry crops (strawberries, raspberries)
  • orchards (apple, pear, cherry trees)
  • potatoes
  • vegetables (cabbage, tomatoes)
  • legumes
  • corn
  • grapes

Soils with iron deficiency and other factors affecting the absorption of iron

Iron deficiency is most often observed on calcareous soils. Phosphate fertilizers also affect the solubility of iron: addition of high doses of it promotes the formation of low-soluble iron phosphate in the soil.

What to do if there is a lack of iron?

Application of the LURS® colofermin iron no later than 5 days after the onset of the disease restores the color of the leaves.
Compatibility: LURS® colofermin iron performs well in tank mixes with herbicides, insecticides, fungicides and biological preparations. Prior to starting preparation of a tank mix, always check the formulations for compatibility.


Does not crystallize. Storage at low temperatures may result in the product gelling. Increase of ambient temperature causes the increment of the liquid viscosity. The composition of the microfertilizer allows conducting treatments at an air temperature above + 5°С.

To avoid leaf and fruit burn, do not apply the formulations in high air temperatures. To obtain the maximum effect, it is advisable to conduct treatments in the evening (at a temperature below + 25°С).

Treatment during the flowering period is not recommended.

The formulation contains a high concentration of ions of iron, which provides a reduction in dose of its application, and subsequently the costs per hectare.

It is recommended for use in conjunction with VIMPEL ®plant growth stimulator.
